In the first edition of the "Complete Official Road Guide" published in 1915 and 1916 a Lincoln Highway Radiator Emblem is advertised. The emblem is three colors red, white, and blue, and includes the writing "Sustaining Lincoln Highway Member". The emblem also has a large "L" in the center of the piece, and a copyright symbol underneath the word "highway". The emblems were sent to people who paid $5.00 annually of the Lincoln Highway club. Profits made where used to build Lincoln Highways.
